Perkins Texas

PerkinsTexas LLC

Started using PerkinsTexas as my email name over 20 years ago and set up the LLC in 2013.

With this company, I execute marketing research / consulting projects and carry out angel investing / nonprofit funding for new enterprises.

For several years I have been interested in online data privacy protection. I passed an exam to become a Certified Information Privacy Professional or CIPP/US and am now a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. There about 100 CIPP/US members in Texas.

Our history in Texas

My paternal grandfather's grandfather, William Henry Perkins, came to Texas in the 1850's.  Born in Virginia, he most likely comes from the Purkins / Perkins line based in Essex County, Virginia since the very early 1600's.

And my paternal grandmother's grandfather, Lowry Hampton Scrutchfield, was born near Nacogdoches, Texas in 1824.  His grandfather came into what is now Texas, but was Spain at the time, around 1818.
